Another month has gone by and we are heading towards the middle stages of 2024. February was full of content on every platform.

But Netflix once again became the most active of all.

However, compared to last month, the number of original shows reduced significantly in Feb from ~10 to ~6.

Here’s my list of the top 4 Netflix series of February 2024.

These are unmissable creations that you must watch, in my opinion.

4. House of Ninjas

In the battle of the best, it is extremely hard to put something at the bottom.

A Japanese series, House of Ninjas became a fan favorite almost instantly on Netflix partly because of the historical relevance of its title.

The setup follows the Tawaras, a Ninja family that has gone into hiding until one day when the officials from the Bureau of Ninja Management inform them of an enemy’s return.

They seek help from the Tawara family’s head who rejects the offer. However, contrary to his decision, his family members silently start working to eliminate the nemesis.

House of Ninjas is filled with breathtaking action sequences. Plus, the storyline is intricately built to give the action a sturdy base.

It is a bliss for the lovers of action and adventure. Those who like family dramas can also go for it.

Number of Episodes: 8

Total Duration: ~7.5 Hours

Stars: Kento Kaku, Yosuke Eguchi, Tae Kimura.

3. A Killer Paradox

One of the rare shows I couldn’t review, A Killer Paradox enjoyed a place in Netflix’s global top ten list for a long time.

I know many of you would want it to be ranked higher but remember that we just have four places. So, I am sorry but not sorry.

A Killer Paradox puts a naïve and innocent youngster in a spot of bother when he accidentally kills a man.

Thereafter, begins a string of unwanted murders giving rise to a ‘paradox.’

Every person he kills is either a criminal or someone who deserves to die, according to the principles of natural justice.

There aren’t many action scenes in the series. You will find brawls more often than full-scale fight sequences.

But A Killer Paradox is about the depth of its narrative.

The characters, the setup, the ambiance, and the plot’s authenticity are factors that pull you.

Number of Episodes: 8

Total Duration: ~7 Hours

Stars: Choi Woo-shik, Son Suk-ku, Lee Hee-jun

2. A Round of Applause

I can see some eyebrows raising. Many of you may not have heard of this one.

Originating from Turkey, A Round of Applause is the wildest Netflix show in a long time and I mean it.

A couple decides to have a kid. So, naturally, they have sex and the wife gets pregnant. Soon, the kid is delivered.

However, while in the womb, we are shown his unwillingness to step into the outside world.

Therefore, the day the couple brings him home from the hospital, he travels back inside her mother.

It sounds crazy, I understand. But the rest of the plot is even crazier. And the ending is insane.

A Round of Applause is chuckle-worthy, offbeat, and satirical, to some extent.

There is a hidden context behind every scene. It forces you to pause and reflect.

The minute I finished it, I knew it had to be among the top 3. More so because of the creative wilderness, it throws in the mix.

Number of Episodes: 6

Total Duration: ~3 Hours

Stars: Asl?han Gürbüz, Fatih Artman, Cihat Süvario?lu.

1. One Day

Unarguably the best show of the month, I think all of us can crown One Day with a tiara, maybe?

It is based on David Nicholls’ iconic novel of the same name. But aren’t books mostly good?

The way the story has been adapted on the screen is what makes it number one on this list.

Emma and Dexter meet for the first time on the last day of college. They spend the night together and form an unusual bond different than what they had initially thought of.

Consequently, they decided to meet once a year at least.

The series depicts the journey of their decades-spanning serene, complicated, and emotional friendship.

One Day is unflashy, subtle, and emotionally scintillating. It stimulates your inner structures by touching sensitive nerves.

You will need time to come out of its world and get back into yours.

That’s how charming the series can be.

Number of Episodes: 14

Total Duration: ~6 Hours

Stars: Leo Woodall and Ambika Mod.
