Fridays bring bedlam for reviewers, especially when the day before had a major release from America in The Night Agent.

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is the latest Hindi film to arrive directly on Netflix. I think it has happened after quite some time. We mostly have original shows and the last such movie was Qala, as far as my memory goes.

For the unversed, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is a famous Hindi phrase that roughly translates into The thief ran away.

As for the movie, I have prepared my review but first, here are some trivial details.

What is the Story of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga?

A flight attendant and her boyfriend must steal diamonds mid-air to settle an old debt. Their plan hits a roadblock when the plane is hijacked, putting innocent lives at stake.

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is directed by Ajay Singh. It stars Sunny Kaushal (Ankit), Yami Gautam (Neha), Sharad Kelkar (RAW deputy Shaikh), and Indraneil Sen Gupta (Sudhanshu) in lead roles.

Positive Aspects of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga

The movie supplies an intriguing premise. A couple plans a heist mid-air to pay their life-threatening debts. And when the plan is set into motion, tragedy strikes.

It feels intimidating and exciting when the pace of narration helps the film gain momentum at the right time.

You will remain curious as to what will happen next in Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. The storyline is easygoing until it is not.

It has twists, some amazing ones, and an enigmatic appeal to the lead characters. You tend to doubt them at specific points without any concrete reason.

Moreover, crunch moments are handled pretty well by the makers, skillfully avoiding the usual blunders.

When Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is at the point of getting out of hand, the aces and jacks make an appearance in the plot.

The swift screenplay ensures exhilaration never eases out. Predominantly, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga relies on what is to come and that’s when the factor of unpredictability kicks in.

You might guess the event to come, but you would probably miss out on the details by a huge margin.

Furthermore, its background score makes for a riveting experience. The buildups sound much better when accompanied by the energetic beats in the background.

How Are the Performances?

Yami Gautam plays Neha in Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. A complete package of onscreen developments, her agility stands apart.

I missed out on her last film, but the actress has only gotten better with time. The kind of roles she is getting these days are strong and pivotal.

Gautam’s furtive expressions are underplayed by the occasional intensity. She leads Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga authentically without making a fuss about it.

Sunny Kaushal, on the other hand, is another shining star of Indian cinema. I loved him in Shiddat and once again, the man doesn’t disappoint.

His spontaneity in front of the camera is enough to power the ongoing excitement. The actor somehow manages to appear as a winner even when he is down and out. It is a little too drastic in a positive way.

The subtle Sharad Kelkar joins the cast and permeates Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga with more fascination. He hinges on his sharp expressions to elevate the standards of the film.

Negative Aspects of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga

It’s an enjoyable movie. Some of the twists lack tenor but they are endurable when seen as a whole. Also, there are subtle mysteries that might flash ahead of their arrival.

Should you Stream or Skip Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga?

FAQs

Will there be Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga part 2?

Though nothing is official yet, it is surely possible, considering the ending of the film. The makers might wait for audience feedback before finalizing things.

They can continue the film in the form of a series, just like the Night Sky franchise did.

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga ending explained.

Neha ensures that Ankit pays for his deeds. So, the minister beats the hell out of him. The RAW deputy Shaikh is told to forget the case. This is what we saw before the directorial credits poured in.

However, the post-mid-credit scene shows Neha landing somewhere in Oceania (Australia or New Zealand). She is followed by Ankit as he calls her from the airport.

Now, what I think is Ankit wants revenge. He might have promised the minister to bring him the diamonds. Why else would he be spared?

On the other hand, Shaikh is someone who wouldn’t let the event pass away so easily. He could well be following Neha’s aerial footprints.

The three are bound to meet at some point if there’s ever a Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga part 2.

Who stole the diamonds in Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga?

Neha, along with Sudhanshu and his team, stole the diamonds mid-air in the garb of a hijack.
